Technical Configuration Specialists - Mobile Phone (f/m)

Job Details

• Creation of the technical variant proposals at Local Sales Unit level. Settings, SW, HW, Services, Memory Cards, Mass Memory, UDA, etc, excludes Sales Package
• Create variants using creation tools are available (S40 Emulator (CuTE), Carbide.v, Nuage) they would be utilized.
• Creating Technical AVRs (OP M drives commerciallyorientated exceptions e.g. branding, Ovi store
• DQD drives technicallyorientated exceptions e.g. P P bits) and managing 3rd party applications process on behalf of our customers.
• Provides comprehensive verification support and technical project management of SW deliveries.
• Creating the variant proposals for new and running change and maintenance variants. Would
• be done ideally via mini variantcamps done with both OPM & DQD together with customer. For remote / noncollaborative cases, need work out how capture what was agreed from business perspective & how followup detail. This will not replace existing Strategic Variant Camps.
• Provide single and consistent interface for Nokia Trade Customers for technical aspects of variant creation.
• This position also is responsible for ensuring timely delivery and collaboration for our operators for all technical questions related to the variant. Ensure synchronized variant creation with operator On Time Delivery (OTD) plans.
• Obtain customer variant approval (MDC 04 status responsibility)
• Approve the variant in the MDC/PATool
• Ensure variant plans and status is updated and visible at
all times.

Your Profile

• B.Sc. or equivalent in relevant area
• Knowledge and experience of Nokia devices as well as experience of product creation and variant processes
• Good understanding of Variant team role in relation to other entities in product SW customisation area within Nokia
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solver and adviser
• Knowledge of project management tools and practices and experience in managing projects
• Good change management and process development competences
• Ability to manage multisite virtual team projects with a willingness to travel. Ability to work under high pressure
